Elmhurst boasts so many wonderful things to do when you want to get out of the house. In downtown Elmhurst, you’ll find York Theatre, a restored theater offering ten screens. It’s not hard to miss--its classic marquee just sort of beckons you inside. You can often catch a performance by the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra. Overall, there are 23 parks in Elmhurst, each one offering its special amenities. During the summer months, you can enjoy Movies in the Park at Wilder Park.
